Our AGM was on Tuesday June 10th at Sanction Wood School, St. Paul’s Road, Cambridge CB1 2EZ. Our speaker was Tina Clayden, who is a specialist teacher for Hearing Impaired Students. We had an extremely interesting talk about the effects of hearing impairment and partial hearing loss (glue ear), particularly for primary aged children..
On Saturday November 15th 2008, 9.30 – 12.30 a.m., we will have our workshop at the Cambridge Professional Development Centre, Foster Road, Trumpington, Cambridge CB22 2NL. Members £10.00; non-members £15.00. Terry Gilligan, a Speech and Language Therapist, will provide a practical workshop on Thinking Games and Verbal Reasoning. Those attending will receive one black and white game free, and the chance to try out 38 language games aimed at developing verbal reasoning.
