On September 4 there was a 30 minute Presentation and Questions on “University or other Higher Education pathways, on the DSA and the processes involved” by Michele Capes, Anglia Assessment Centre Manager at Anglia Ruskin University, followed by a general discussion about Continuing Professional Development for Practising Certificate.

On October 6 there was “An Introduction to Irlen Scotopic Syndrome”, a workshop to illustrate the effects of visual “dyslexia” on reading and how to correct with coloured lenses and overlays. Irlen East.


October 24th 12 – 2: Great Yarmouth College: “How to use LADS Dyslexia Screen for Adults: A computer based dyslexia screen.” Please go to reception for directions to venue. Lunch and refreshments provided. Entry costs are: £1 for members, £2 for non members: unless stated as free.

December 15th 7 – 9: Suffolk College, Ipswich. “How to use WRAMML for identifying auditory, visual and attention & focus specific learning difficulties: Core Tests).” Please go to reception for directions to venue. Christmas Meal after speaker event. Entry costs are: £1 for members, £2 for non members: unless stated as free.
