The committee met in June to discuss ideas for the following academic year. In November, Sue Hartga, our Treasurer, will be giving us a talk entitled ‘Memory, Emotion and Effective Study Strategies.’ This interactive session looks at how our memory and our emotions can help or hinder us when we try to study and how we can maximise our potential. Aimed at Primary, Secondary, FE and Adult tutors, there will be time for colleagues to exchange ideas.
Sue is currently a Dyslexia Support Tutor at Hertford Regional College and works in private practice with learners from all age groups.
We are also planning a practical IT session for the Spring Term.
Attendance Certificates will be provided at all meetings as evidence of CDP.
